In no particular order, here are the most incredible places around the globe to celebrate New Year in style.
Times Square, New York.
Arguably, the biggest and most iconic New Year street party of them all. Over 1 million people descend on the streets of New York to watch the famous ball drop at midnight. With live performances, an electric atmosphere plus the explosion of confetti at midnight, it will be a night to remember.
Singapore
If you don't fancy braving the cold this New Year then Singapore could be the perfect alternative. Head down to the Marina for an incredible view of the cities skyline, this also makes for the perfect spot to watch the endless stream of fireworks light up the sky at midnight.
Edinburgh, Scotland
Known as Hogmanay in Scotland, the stunning city of Edinburgh is an incredible place to bring in the New Year. With the spellbinding castle as a backdrop, and the city's gothic architecture encasing Europe's biggest street party. There is live music, fireworks and the Torchlight Procession, in which thousands of torch carriers illuminate the city. Knowing Scotland, you will probably need to brace the cold weather, but it will be worth it!
Sydney, Australia.
Sydney is probably my favourite place in the world to celebrate New Year. Watching the fireworks over Sydney Harbour Bridge was a truly incredible experience, and one big tick off the bucket list. Whether you go to The Harbour Party, take a cruise or watch the sky light up from one of the cities many parks, Sydney makes for an incredible place to spend New Year.
London, England.
Watch the London Eye light up whilst the sky explodes in colour in the English capital. With endless places throughout the city to see the fireworks, or if you fancy staying indoors this New Years Eve you can always opt for one of London's famous parties like the 1920's themed Prohibition Party or Brazilian inspired Sushisamba party!
