CHECKING INTO HOTEL INDIGO

Now that I am living back in Scotland, being able to visit Glasgow as a tourist was a real novelty for me. Long gone are the days where I would commute into the city centre each day for work, this time I was able to see Glasgow through my new tourist-eyed-glasses and I was excited to rediscover this city which I had spent so much time in, but knew so little about.

With Glasgow being a city so close to my heart, I knew I wanted to stay in a hotel which not only offered a great location, but was also boutique, stylish and was a bit of affordable luxury. Hotel Indigo ticked all of those boxes and it was the perfect place to base myself whilst exploring Glasgow.

Only a five minute walk from central station, Hotel Indigo is in a prime location. The hotel itself also houses the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill, so if you love food then you don't need to look any further than the hotel lobby to experience some delicious Scottish produce.

When staying at Hotel Indigo, the staff could not have been friendlier and truly captured the best of Scottish hospitality. My stay here felt personable and welcoming, and one feature which I loved was the "Enhance your stay" packages which the hotel offered. If you are staying at the hotel for a special occasion then you can add various extras including The Birthday Package or The Anniversary Package - which include such things as a birthday cake, champagne or flowers. You can custom your stay here to make truly memorable and the hotel take care of it all for you, it's like having your own personal assistant for weekend!

An overnight stay at Hotel Indigo includes breakfast, where you can held yourself to a continental buffet and order a hot breakfast which will be made fresh for you. I would recommend trying the Scottish Fry-up, it's a must when visiting Scotland!

So if you are looking for a stylish hotel, in the heart of Glasgow which offers fantastic food and superior service then look no further than Hotel Indigo. It is the perfect place to base yourself whilst exploring Glasgow and all it has to offer.
